Blarney Stone Enterprises was set up in 1987. The business is family run by the husband and wife team of Declan and Camilla Fearon. The primary focus of the company is on the distribution of collectible figurines – Declan’s Finnians, whose inspired creation came from the famous history of the Blarney Stone in Co. Cork, Ireland.

Innovation is at the heart of our business and we now offer a whole range of new cheeky characters and figurines. Currently we distribute to over twenty-six countries and have over 35,000 registered collectors.

History of the Blarney Stone

A standard of Irish folklore for centuries the Blarney Stone is believed to bestow the gift of good luck and eloquence among all who kiss it. Those seeking to acquire the gift of eloquence and luck must apply stamina and courage. Firstly, they must trudge up 120 spiraling steps to the Blarney Castle’s roofless battlement top. They then must sit with their backs to the stone and an attendant sits on their legs or firmly grips their feet. Then leaning back and downwards while gripping the iron rails, you lower yourself until your head is even with the stone to be kissed!! All this whilst trying to forget you are 150 feet above ground.
